9 months

Time just refuses to slow down...our little man is growing up so fast! We had Beckett's 9-month check-up today, and everything was perfect. I was sure he would be off the charts with height and weight since he is now wearing 12-18 month clothes, but he was in the same range as last time.

Height: 29 inches (75%)
Weight: 23lbs, 4oz (75%)

He is really close to walking and loves pushing his toys around the house. He has mastered his b's and d's so it really sounds like he can say "da-da" and "bye-bye." I'd like to think he knows what they mean and uses them appropriately, but every now and then I find him calling George "da-da" so I don't think he quite gets it yet. But he has waved "bye-bye" on several occasions so I think we are getting close. Now if I can just get him to practice "ma-ma." :)

My favorite new thing he is doing is giving kisses. He will lean in open mouth and kiss you smack on the lips...sounds kind of gross but it is the sweetest kiss ever!!

And just last Saturday we woke up to find that overnight he had sprouted his first TWO teeth! Thank goodness because he woke up 5 times during the middle of the night on Friday (not like him) so I was glad there was a reason.
