All Boy!

My child is constantly moving and has absolutely no fear! He has now mastered the art of crawling and does it at an alarmingly fast pace. He has also learned to run (not walk!) with his walker toys. I think it will be a matter of weeks before Beckett is truly walking on his own.

It is so fun to watch him discover new things and become more independent, but boy is our life going to get busy. He is always on the move and loves to explore. His favorite new toys include doorstops and electrical sockets (don't worry...they have all been covered) as well as any type of ball. And I use the word "ball" loosely because pretty much anything Beckett can pick up is thrown, just like a ball :)

We are learning that he is also a little daredevil. If you put him on the bed he immediately crawls to the edge and would literally crawl right off if we didn't stop him. And he has also learned that his crib can be a fantastic playpen/jungle gym. Luckily I still keep him in one of the zip up blankets. But I'm afraid when we get rid of those that this child is going to climb right out of his crib...we'll have to figure something out.

Here are a few random pics from the last few weeks...err month!

Pics from our playgroup...and yes, that is my child laying horizontal trying to roll off the couch.

Not sure how long it will take for B to figure out the way to a girl's heart is not through a tackle. Sorry Sophie!

Bath time...although the days of bathing in the sink are now officially over. We've moved to the big tub due to the fact that I was needing to mop after each bath because of B's love of splashing.

Beck and his BFF

The day he discovered you can do more than just lay in a crib.

You can climb on the bumper...

Or throw your paci onto the floor...

And watch it fall.

So mom, what do you think of my new tricks? With a face this cute how can you get mad??

He loves to bury himself in these.

Check out the static in his hair.

Mega blocks and his new train table

Not sure what to say other than "Poor George!" He is such a trooper.

Playing with Addison...she was a great babysitter and is welcome back anytime!

These are the moments I love!!
